Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting
Once you have completed all assessment requirements to a satisfactory level, you will be issued with a Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting (MEM40412).
If you do not complete the course, or if there are any units you are not yet deemed to be competent in, you will receive a Statement of Attainment for the units you completed.

- Computer Aided Design (CAD)
Eligibility requirements
To participate in this program, you must be employed in a mechanical services drafting office.
Delivery and assessment
This program has a competency-based delivery model and takes 500-2,400 hours to complete.
In addition to training and assessment conducted within the workplace, students must attend 5 week-long intensive classes (block weeks) held at AMCA headquarters located in Burwood, Victoria. If you have a previous qualification and/or relevant industry experience, a credit transfer or recognition of your prior learning can be arranged.
Please note that this qualification is not delivered under a traineeship or apprenticeship model.

Cost and payment
Course costs include course materials, morning tea, afternoon tea, and lunches. They exclude airfares and accommodation.

Refund and cancellation policy
A full refund of the enrolment fee will be provided if the AMCA is notified in writing at least 10 working days prior to the course commencement date. Participant substitutes will be considered if they fit the course criteria, with notification to be provided in writing. We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, or reschedule the program due to insufficient registrations or other reasons beyond our control. In the event of a program cancellation, a full refund will be provided.
