The PSCIA 2018 Conference held in Albury last week from 24 – 26 June was once again a great success.
PSCIA was formed 52 years ago and in 1986, the Association held its first conference at Albury, which has continued annually to the present day.
The Association focuses on fellowship and staff development, and the purpose of the conference is to bring trade teachers together during their approved staff development time.
The plumbing teaching fraternity's strength lies in sharing resources, staff development activities and Institute working committees.
Aside from the vast knowledge offered by presenters at the conference, it is also an opportunity for the smaller regional institutes, to network with the larger metropolitan institutes and pool their ideas.
All institutes in Victoria that teach plumbing including private organisations are invited to attend the annual conference each year. This includes representatives from the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Contractors Association of Victoria who have supported PSCIA for the past 10 years and will continue to do so in the future.
